All freshwater leaks can be stopped with the turn of a shut off valve. If you have a broken pipe in your wall, a cracked pipe in your yard, maybe you ran over a water spigot with the lawn mower.... (we get this call all the time) you can avoid a water disaster simply by turning off the main valve to your home. Some you can do by hand, some require a key that you can purchase at your local home repair store. If you don’t know where your shut off is, and what you need to turn it off contact your local utility. Get this done BEFORE you have to call us. It’s free and a service of your local utility company. GOT A LEAKING WELL....just flip off the electrical breaker.
Water Heater Maintenance
Open the drain on your water heater twice a year to remove sediment. Over time sedimnet will build up in your water heater and you will have less and less hot water as the tank holds fewer and fewer gallons of water due to the pile of buildup.
